All you need to know about French food

I could either write a load of trip (or write about a load of tripe) but to be fair there are some superb sites out there already. So my job is to point you at a few.

From these - when you're not in France, and you wish you were, or when it's someones birthday and you wish you'd brought back a special food, or it's Christmas. Or dammit, you just can't get patisserie like they've got over there (only a hard old chelsea bun, doughnut, iced bun ....). So, for a treat or a present you can buy it from these places.

One of my favourite sites for just about anything is the vast about.com site. In particular frenchfood.about.com. OK it's an American site but they have an authoritative editor for every topic you can imagine. This site has recipes and information and all you need.

I've found a couple of really good places to buy real French food.

Ebay is a great source..for...sauce...and any other french foods that are difficult to get here using the keywords french/france gourmet food
