Apart from Seans which we've stayed in ourselves, there are many more gites and cottages in Calvados, Normandy - France. Gites that are self-catering, or cottages on the site of the farmer.

There are many B&Bs too - it might seem daunting but everything I've ever heard back from people is that it is very easy, comfortable and enjoyable. Perhaps a little French help, too!

On the whole Normandy gites that I have seen are very clean and well presented. Many are owned by Brits and so you will get plug adapters, TV, books in English, games for the children, in English and so on. Also your instructions for the oven etc will be easy to understand!
